It appears that someone in Colorado besides myself is working on developing a WBX motor in the 2.4L size....82mm x 95mm bore....who ever you are.... good luck....I am happy to see that someone is actually doing what I've been promoting since I've been posting threads on stroking and boring the 2.1L....something I had to do when I came to the realization that I need to do a rebuild. Here's something new: Anyone use a 964 grind on their wasserboxer?.....this is a cam profile that works well with fuel injection for porsches,,,,,c2's and c4's....Robert?.....webcam? The other thing is if you want more torque from your 2.1L or 1.9L......have a set of custom pistons made for about $400......9.5 to 10:1 and use Deves rings and those real cool circlips for the wrist pins.
Malibu Tony ps: it appears that we do have 930 type tie rods on our vanagons and the pads are also a shared part from 911's |
