Hi all from Atlanta, Just another message about my 83.5 Westy I have for sale. It can be seen at traderonline.com using the following link by copying and pasting: http://www.autotrader.com/findacar/vdetail.jtmpl?car_id=89417626&dealer_id=& certified=n&max_price=&start_year=1983&end_year=1983&address=30012& search_type=used&make=VOLKS&model=VANAG&min_price=&distance=25&advcd_on=n& advanced=n&color=&car_year=1983&ac_afflt=ATLANTACLASSIFIEDS.COM I have had some good times camping in my Westy but I just don't enjoy the trips like I used to when I lived in San Diego in the early 90's. I miss the desert and ocean and find I don't have the time right now for camping trips beyond the Southeast so I decided to let someone else enjoy it. I realize most interested parties are out West and in the Midwest and Northeast so I am prepared to lower the price to $4000 and split airfare up to $300 for any buyer who has to fly in. I can only offer this deal contingent upon the purchase of the camper so of course some risk is involved but I will be very forthcoming on the overall condition of my camper over the phone. I just solved a problem with the infamous flickering oil pressure light at idle by flushing the engine with a very effective engine flush by Amsoil and changing the oil with Mobil 1 15W-50 and an Mahle filter. The lifters are nice and quiet also. This is a terrific example of the earlier Westies and many more miles and memories are still left for the right individual. Call me at 770-482-8381 for a live discussion or e-mail me for photos. I work a grueling schedule right now but I will follow up on all inquiries. Regards - Bill |
