Subject: Removing the door window seals and "paraphanlia"
Content-Type: text/plain; charset=iso-8859-1

Hi Volks:

I'd like to redo the paint on the interior of the doors, and to do this the "stuff that the window slides into" needs to be removed.

The "Stuff" I refer to is largely at the bottom of the window.

(I don't like paint jobs where they just mask the seals - paint always get on 'em, and it's easier to not mask, anyway)

Can the stuff be removed without having to replace it - does it get trashed in the removal"? ( I don't know what the proper names for those components are)

How is it done - is there a reference in Bentley (couldn't find one if there is)

TIA,

Marshall Ruskin
