Bleeding was not THE problem!
First:
A faulty NEW OEM VW temp sensor # 1, giving a hotter reading of 20%
(sending to the front dash temp gauge, the black one in front of the
thermostat housing) the gauge was giving a reading of about 2/3 (hot)

Second:
A faulty NEW OEM VW Thermostat, giving 20% more heat. Both the old one and
the new one were 87deg)

So that gives me a total of 40% more heat on the temp gauge (not really
true, the increase was really 20% up / thermostat) So I was sure when road
testing the van that she was overheating, so I was stopping to let her cool
down….for nothing)

I am not very happy, I lost a lot of time believing that the cooling system
was not properly bleed, it was…………………………

So on 5 new VW electro mechanic parts, 2 were defective.

I found out the problem after putting back the old part one by one.

The needle is now on the center of the gauge at normal operating
temperature, with both heater core valves close. When open I am below the
red coolant level light.
