Well, a little advice...

There are lots of things you can scrap yard, and lots of things that you can juryrig... but what's your time worth? Finding a scrap yard, pulling the little piece you need, seeing if it's still OK.. (and what bets are there that you won't be in the same situation in three weeks?), putting it in, and setting it up.

Seems like 90 bucks knowing you are going to get the right part that will last another 15 years...

Not a bad deal.
