More on my propane situation. Thanks for all the input. Gary Hradek sent me some docs that make me realize that I do not have the auto stop valve. The label on the tank indicates that I do, but it must have been switched out at some point. Yesterday, i was playing around with it casually while working under there on something else. opened the bleed valve a bit too far, without gloves on and got liquid propane on my finger. Ouch. Weird sensation. The feeling is mostly back now, and I see no skin damage. Won't do that again.

So today I backed the van up on ramps so it was tilted with the bleed valve at the high end of the tank. Opened the bleed, and got liquid, then a mixture then gas. If I rocked the van, it would slosh up and get liquid again. Then put the van back on the level, and bled it until it was just gas again. So now I think I have about the right amount of propane in there. In the future, I will have to tell propane person to just fill it until liquid comes out the bleeder?

I got the fridge lit, and will let it run for a while to continue using some propane. How hard is it to see the pilot through that hole in the back of the fridge? I can barely see a faint blue color. I will see if I am still getting a leak at the tank. My nose says it is less now, but not sure.

Edward
