How do these circuits work? Are they factory circuits that you added new lighting to are they you own custom circuits?

What sort of resistor do you have to put in series with an LED to make it work?

It's been 12 years since I went through electrician's school in the Navy and I don't even hardly remember the math!!! <grin> Use it or lose it...
