The problem is obvious...You're not wearing your VW issue rose-coloured glasses!
Wear them wheneve you drive or repair the Westy and everything will be just
fine.   ;>)

| HELP!!  My 1984 1.9l Westy van (with manual steering and transmmission,
| Michelin Agilis tires and 177,000 miles) has a problem. Whenever I drive at
| highway speeds (between 50 and 62 MPH), I notice that the fresh air vents
| don't blow air when they are turned off.
