Hey folks,

I have a BA-6 heater that I will be offering up for sale. Its is great shape throughout, and I have the complete heater and all the gadgets that are needed. I also have the switch and relay under the dash.

The question though relates to its usability. A hole has been punched into the heater, in the middle of the BA-6 label that is riveted into it. The hole is about 3/4 inch in diameter. Since this is only the outer shell (and because the label was riveted here), am I corret in assuming that the heater itself is fine, and the owner can plug the hole with another plate riveted over the hole?

By the way, this heater came out of an 82 Vanagon.

Any insight by the experts would be appreciated. Thanx!

Z
