Subject:      Glove Boxes

Hi folks, looking for some expertise on interiors, or maybe some SWAGs.


Mine is an 81, plain jane, genric van, so plain that it has a small open
space, with no door where all of you rich folks enjoy an actual glove box,
with a real door like a real vehicle :)


I see several glove boxes on ebay at the moment and a quick look at my van
shows that maybe that open box might come out. Anyone have an opinion as
to whether I can replace the open cavity with a real glove box?


Bentley page 70.6, at least mine, shows my inferior glove space and infers
that it comes out easily, so I will likely take a chance, but I am
wondering if anyone has any real-time knowledge of this area.


Much obliged for any commentary.
