While I do agree that in comparison to your 70 Bus, the 87 is much more speed worthy----I find that my 74 Westy is just as wind blown as the 87----in a 35 MPH side wind they blow around equally ----

The 74 is more fun to drive locally----the 87 is the long distance camper---just because it can be pushed a little faster, a little longer---

However I do prefer the interior layout of the Bus versus the one sided layout of the Vanagon---the Bus has more interior storage room than the Vanagon---and it's balanced----

Just my personal observations, and preferences-----

Later,

Terry
