I remember when mine started to shudder a few thousand miles after I had a Sachs replacement installed. That was 50,000 miles ago. It still shudders. It is worst first thing in the morning, and when backing up (particularly when backing up a hill.) My thought was that the transmission seal is leaking oil and flinging it on the clutch.
