Those part numbers are for a 4-speed, not an automatic. Which trans do you really have? The rear cover does not crack on its own. Something broke it. There is also a vent hole on top. Is it possible the transmission was overfilled or the oil is contaminated with water causing it to foam and come out the vent? Dennis
