Metal tint is preferred over dyed - metal will not fade over time. Look for a shop with a guarantee - the shop that did mine gives a lifetime guarantee for their premium tints. Look for a shop that has been in business for awhile. I removed my closet for the installer who said he could not do a proper job with the closet in place. I used metal-tint in the limo tint. Looks dark from the outside, much lighter from the inside. Makes a substantial difference in keeping the heat out in the summer, and helps the already marginal A/C.
