Jon, Diesel motors and gas motors have different requirements. I am sure that you noticed how black your oil was even a few miles after a change. That is because diesel motors put soot into the oil. There are oils specifically made to deal with this soot. I do not know of a synthetic or any oil that Kendall makes that is suited to diesels. Scot
