These lights are NOT bright enough to see on lit city streets. These
lights are common outside Europe, you know, and lots of them here.
Most nights I'll see one or more cars with parking lights on at
night, and they are far too dim to see clearly.

You'd certainly be up for a ticket here if a cop saw you.
