Hmm, that's odd. About a year ago I replaced some reinforced passenger tires with "C" rated truck tires (27x8.5R14) and the difference is, well, amazing! I have a 'weekender' pop-top Westy and it handles so much better now. I run 50 PSI in all tires all the time. The treadwear has been good, ride smooth and noise very acceptable. I too drive it daily.

Perhaps it's the tire brand that made the difference.

Chris,

'85 Westy.
