Chris,

I yanked mine out and I experienced leaks in the front window in rain. I did get some of that black window caulk and put that under the lip of the seal and that stopped the leaks. I think the stuff cost $5 so still much better than the $300. I would spend the $230 for a new propane tank. They can rust out from the inside so even if it looks good on the outside...
