I think their assessment of the Splittie is dead-on accurate.
The Bay was a great improvement, but still pretty crappy on all the
points they note. The Vanagon was a quantum leap better, but still
benefits from more sound/heat insulation, and additional tweaking of the
heat system.  Let's face it, WE love these things, but generally they
are aptly derided for some credible reasons.

i know the Car-Talk retards hate vw buses, but im beginning to think
