All parts not specific to the Water Cooled will swap. 85 Up sliding door and panel, longer, no fit. Late 83-up disk rotors have larger outer bearing but will fit. Lots of luck, but if it was me I'd part it out. If it was a Westy I'd restore it but Vanagons just aren't worth the investment unless you're using it for a trade. You'll definitely have to drive your money out of it.
