Subject: Rear side marker lens bulb holder.
Content-Type: text/plain; charset=us-ascii

Hey listees....

I was out getting my bus all cleaned up and ready for spring today, and thought I'd take the side marker lens off and clean up the bulbs....

Turns out the entire bulb holder unit and bulb were a gross rusty corroded mess inside the rubber boot. I reckon my passenger read side marker light hasn't worked since i got it judging by how corroded it is. Just like my licence plate lights I fixed last year. I didn't even know I had licence plate lights! Anyhow, the point is, I need a new bulb holder for the rear side marker lens. I could also use a new lens. Mine is all full of dirt somehow. Any of you list sellers have one for sale? Failing that, is the bulb holder an item that I may find in another model VW at a junkyard? There are no yards with buses around here, but lots of golfs, jettas, foxes, various audis. Any of these have workable parts?

Thanks all .

Greg. 82 Westy.
