You can purchase products similar to this, and apply it yourself. It's easy
to do, and very cheap.

The main thing is to ensure that you get a product that is self-coloured,
because many people have had problems with paint coming off of
rockguard-type spray-on products.

I personally had to redo the rocker-panels of my van, right to the bare
metal - about a year after I used rockguard with a painted surface. I'll
never use a product like that again, unless it has the right colour embedded
in it from the start.
