I tapped my solenoid into my low-beam headlamp wire so that they shut off with the high-beams and shut off when ignition is off. I have a factory fog light switch in the previously empty slot on lower right side that turns them on, and the main power wire is going directly to the battery. The solenoid handles all the high-amp current, not the switch, of course.

Chris.

mounted some fog lights on top of my bumper that have their own in line fuse and switch. anyone ever spliced them into the headlights so they are on all the time when the headlights are? is that okay?
