Would it be possible to extend a gas tank, -------------------------------- Dead men don't need gas tanks or $600.00. If you find someone stupid enough to weld on a gas tank that has already had fuel in it, run like hell. I've been around welding all of my life .............. the last aluminum 60 gallon diesel tank that a neighbor tried to get me to Heli Arc blew up on the fellow around the block that thought he could weld it and killed him. Aparrently it requires 2000 gallons of water in a 60 gallon tank to make it safe to weld. Gasoline is five times as bad. You should search the internet for *welding gas tanks*. You'd be surprised that not many live to tell about it.
