Subject: Wayward coolant hose

Have had a peaceful 6 months or so with out having to do too much to the 90 GL. Then the other night as I pulled into the driveway at 2:30 AM), I see this steam coming from under the van and simultaneously get the antifreeze smell. Decided to deal with itin AM

Come to find out that the 15mm(?) hose that runs from the metal coolant pipe to over the tranny and points beyond, had dropped down far enough to rub on two of the CV joint bellows and the drive axle. Lord knows how long that has been going on, but it finally wore a hole through the 1 year old hose. The quick fix was a Prestone drain T valve T splice that allowed me to get back on the road. Anyone else had this happen?
