You paint-chip plight lead me to think of a possible compromise that would allow me to actually accept the idea of this hideous plastic substance on the front of Vanagon. Maybe someone has mentioned this already, but aren't there colored spray-on bed liners? Get one closest to the paint color and that may actually look decent.
