Subject: San Francisco Salvation Army Auto Auction

Looking for a project Westy? I was dropping off some donations at the local Salvation Army store this morning (near Army and Valencia in S.F.) and noticed the collection of cars that are soon to be auctioned. Way in the back was a Westfalia. I didn't have time to walk over to take a look at it, but, from a distance, it looked to be mid-80's vintage with a some kind of metallic paint job. From the front, I saw no obvious signs of body rot or damage. The worker there said that it runs and that it would be up for auction sale this coming Monday, April 15, at 12:30 pm.
