I've heard this statement in the past, and it always got me wondering- what seals are in direct contact with oil pressure? I've only torn down diesels, and on these engines the oil pressure is directed to bearing journals. I would think its that way for most engines... So where would the pressure that might blow an oil seal come from? The crankcase itself?? Brad
