Due to health reasons it is time to get more out of life. My wife and I are seriously thinking of selling our beloved D-Westy and buying a late edition with cruse control, A/C, and the ability of talking to each other while driving down the road without yelling to be heard. My question for the group is about syncros. Some of the places we want to visit are a bit remote so the syncro would come in handy. Other than the obvious added weight, lower fuel economy, small added complexity, and higher selling price, what are the differences, plus and minus between syncro and non syncro? Thanks
