MMMmmmmm… For sure you have an electrical intermittent problem!!!! (The worse one) I had my share last year, including corroded wire / connector in the idle stab control box behind the right tail light. A corroded injector connector (right front cylinder). A corroded / loose / cut OS sensor wire & connector. A loose wire in the left firewall junction box (plug of 6 wire, one was loose / partially out)… You want some more, I got some more………………… If he partially found the problem, tell him to redo the same procedure he did first and double check each step he did. I will bet you that it's a damn loose wire somewhere!!!! A partially functioning ECU !!!! Mmmmm… Most of the time an electronic parts / piece is fully working or not working at all. But if some of the list member had partially functioning ECU, that's maybe possible. I will have one of my friend (electronic engineer) study the ECU next week. I have a non-functioning one right now and we will repair the sucker!!!! By the way, I forgot, one of the pin (for the AFM - see link below) was loose on my ECU connector. Van was staling for nothing!!!! Link: http://www.loam.org/vw/Vanagon/VanagonProTraining/DigiFant/ (see page 40) Cheers, Ben http://www3.sympatico.ca/huotx/engine1.htm |
