I had to run a wire from the battery strait to the fan due to a short. Somewhere, I couldn't find the problem. This situation seems to working quite well, I can turn the fan on/off when I like. My concern is damaging the fan, I don't have a fuse in line from the battery. Is it safe to go without? The 12v toggle switch i use is 16 amp. which kinda suggests a fuse ought to be used. If I put one in should it be before the switch or does it make a difference? Thanks everybody!
