Bob that was damn funny, Frank also........... Ha ha ha the damn plate.......... My 2 upper tab were (maybe where!!! damn English)!!!!!!not there!!! So I bought 4 x 1inche by 1 feet brass plate (1/8 thick) at my hobby shop for $1 each and screwed those one under the plate bending them 90deg and attach them elsewhere. I basically replace the 2 missing upper tab each side… Only God can remove the VW remaining broken heads bolts with the engine still in the van. Rusted heads bolt are a typical VW problem!!!!!!!!!! Any cars of those years have the same problem… Last week we had to partially remove a complete engine (about 1 feet in the air) to have access to the rear 89 VW Jetta broken heads bolt!!!!!!!!!!!!! Not the first time I do that… |
