This isn't directly related, I picked up some Aluminum tape from my FLAPS. I was replacing the seal on THe hose fitting on the right cyl head and noticed how close the hose was to the headers. The old hose showed signs of heat. Wrapped the new hose with alum tape in the area where its directly above and closest to the exhaust header, and so far it's keeping the heat off that hose. Better yet, Didn't Frank G. say he replaced the OEM hoses with SS braided hoses? sounds like the best solution. (see the archives, as F.G. always sez!)
