Hi,
My 02 reading starts at .5 with a cold engine. I assume that reading is a
default reading since the 02 sensor does not produce voltage until hot.
Then as the 02 sensor gets hot the digitool reading increases to .7 or so.
By this time the temp 2 coolant input has gotten low enough for the system
to go into closed loop and the 02 will start cycling.
On a warm start I only have to wait for the 02 sensor to reheat, which on an
85 takes longer ( esp. if you restart and then have to wait at a red light
within the first block) because it does not have a built in heater.
I also have an extra ground on my digijet ecu case to the van body, and an
extra ground on the engine head to the van body.
