Hey, y'all......Well, I guess I am buying another bus.
I came out of my office this afternoon to get in my
'84 Wolfsburg to go to the post office to file my
taxes and there was a business card on my windshield.
I pull it out from under the windshield wiper and
there is a note on the back, "FYI, I have a 1984 VW
Vanagon for sale; Wolfsburg Edition. siezed engine"
and a phone number. Is this karma or what? So I called
when I got home and I am going to look at it the
weekend after Everybus, but told the owner I would
take it anyway, as a parter for $500. He said it ran
until his daughter forgot to put water in it when it
seized. Sounded like a pretty good deal to me, though.
So now I am a 2-Vanagon-Household. I don't know  about
a name for the new bus, but I guess I'll check it out
and see if it's worth fixing up. If it is then I'll
probably fix it to sell or maybe keep it so's I have
an extra bus for camping. That way if one gets sick
the other'n will get me to the campouts. The new bus
is also blue, but the PO said it is a lighter blue
than my current Wolfie, the Sunshine SuperVan
'VanGo'........Whoa, I'm feeling good
tonight.........I'll let y'all know how this works out
