Hi Folks,

If this conversation is in some way going to help me figure out:

a) why my Vanagon temp gauge goes up to about 1/8 from the top before the cooling fan finally comes on,

or

b) why my windshield wipers and washers operate only when they feel like it (and seemingly never when there's slush all over the highway),

or

c) where I can find some more 215/70R14 Goodyear Workhorse Radials like I had on my old Vanagon that are now discontinued (and have a suspect load rating but still made my old van ride like a dream),

or

d) anything else that has to do with general upkeep, maintenance, performance, and the growth of confidence in my mechanical abilities in dealing with my Vanagon as well as the wonderful social aspects of hearing stories that are related in some way to the pleasure and/or pain derived from owning one, then by all means continue.

If you want to complain about Mexicans (my wife is one and she has full insurance coverage, I can assure you) or liberals or anybody else whom you might feel is taking away your ability to live your life the way you want to, then please talk to your congressman.

My congressman does not own a Vanagon, so he can't really help me with anything at the moment.

Que Bueno, Happy Tuesday!

these comments are sensible and truthful, but the liberals deal in emotion and feelings, this will surely upset them....thye don't like facts...
