Subject: Tires In High Winds
Content-Type: text/plain; format=flowed

Yesterday, in Salt Lake, there were very high winds. While driving to work I could only get 50 mph on the I-15 southbound fwy due to head-wind. At times they were quartering and other times cross. One time a semi passed me and had that "move me into the next lane" effect. My point here is that, with 45 psi in the Michelin XC LT4 225/70 R14's, all conditions considered, the van was reasonably stable. These winds were up to 50-60 mph. These tires are working for me. Bob Stevens '91 Westy P.S.: We have higher winds on our list than we had in Salt Lake yesterday ;>) Happy is he who bears a god within. -- Louis Pasteur http://communities.msn.com/BobsPhotoShare
