Ken,

Two things:

1. The green light that signals that the fridge is on is often very dim. A
better test is to go outside and see if you feel heat coming out of the vent.
Also sniff for that burning propane smell. It is very possible the thing is
lit and you don't know it. Mine behaved in just this way. Solution was to
replace dim green led with a blue bright one from Radio Shack. Now I can see
if its lit in 5 seconds by the light.

2. Fresh air is a must. If you lose the flame the first try it probably won't
light until you clear the air from the combustion chamber. Lots of data in
the archive on this. I just drive around the block and come back and it
lights every time.
