I've missed most of the ridiculous thread condemning the comments Stan made
and defending the virgin ears of the group. I did read Tom's response showing
again the influence of the PC Police. As I have said before nothing disgusts
me more than the demand for political correctness. Indeed no statement rooted
in heartfelt bigotry is nearly so nauseating to me. Let honest opinions be
presented and let the consequences follow.

My ears have long since been debauched, and they look forward to any stimulus
save the music my 14 year old daughter entertains.

But the extensive, wasteful comments which always ensue are even more
revolting.

I say: "Should any listee deign to leave the list because of politically
incorrect dialog, godspeed and take your fellows with you". The list has
declined in recent years in terms of the number of technical and social
topics, because of the paucity of contributors. A good part of this is due to
the loss of many opinionated and informed listees. The surge of responses to
political outrage and vendor bashing  as compared to any discourse on
technical topics, travelogs, usage issues, customizing results and histories.

When I finally leave the list, it will be in response to the stench of an all
consuming cleansing of the list for proper political correctness.
