The tread on my front left tire is wearing really unevenly.  The outside
is worn to the wear bars and the inside almost looks new.  Looks like a
visit to an alignment professional is in our future.  From recent
postings and some reading in the archives it does not seem that all
alignment shops are created equally, and some do not even have the
proper specs to adjust the alignment on a vanagon.  Any recommendations
on choosing a good shop?  What about a VW dealership; are they a better
bet?  Is there information that I can bring to an alignment shop that
will help them do the job properly, or would that just piss them off?
