My favorite two quotes from that article:


"a simple, maintenance free automatic four wheel drive system" and
"(The VC) is maintenance free and sealed for life"


Ahhh, marketing....never confuse sales with installation/operation, right??
I do love my syncro, but wouldn't exactly call it maintenance free....
