Howdy Folks,
  My message is regarding a plastic piece(i shaped or H shaped depending on which way you flip it),that comes out of the expansion tank and connects to two coolant hoses.Anybody know what i'm talking about?Well any way,it has about 4 differant cracks in it and looks hopelessly unrepareable.I went to a Volkswagen dealer and they told me it was an obsolete part and they can no longer get it.What I want to know is has anybody ever fabricated one of these out of like copper plumbing parts or maybe even just ran straight tubes to the tank?I'm pretty desparate seeing as this is my work vehicle as well as the family hauling vehicle.
