Hmmm... so you're still pining for the slimy, pathologically-lying dirtbag who once actively PROTESTED democracy? Typical Yankee, I guess... ;) And as for Stan's generalization, I'm (unfortunately) inclined to agree with him. Those of us who live in areas of high (native) Hispanic residency live in constant fear of a traffic-related "incident." I have several acquaintences(sp?) who have been involved in accidents with Mexican drivers lacking both a license and insurance. I was involved in an accident two years ago in which a Hispanic woman failed to yield at an intersection and broadsided a Jeep Wrangler that ultimately spun into the front of my vehicle, which was at a complete stop at the same intersection. The woman did have insurance, but subsequently filed bodily injury claims against the other driver's and MY insurance company! Brother. So, while generalities are often a bad policy, they are often based in fact, and also may apply to a specific area of the country more than another. And with that said, I'm off to up my Uninsured Motorist coverage...
