Ed,

I have never actually had that type of repair done but when I did look into it one time, I was told that they will not accept responsibility if the process makes the problem worse and that there is a risk of that due to the high pressure that they exert on the windshield during the repair. Keep that in mind if that's the case with whoever you use to complete the repairs.

Yes it does work, and if the guy know's what he's doing--you will hardly be able to see the repair---

It will slow down the crack from running---

One note---

The epoxy used in the repair will eventually turn yellow----so it will be noticable in time---
