Subject: Tires: Report on B. F. Goodrich27-850R-14/C
Content-Type: text/plain; charset="iso-8859-1"

I've been driving on my new all terrain B. F. Goodrich 27-850-14/C tires for a couple of days now and I am amazed at how much better the van handles. I did not really realize that the mushy feeling of the incorrect passenger tires on the van was not normal even though I read about it on this list.

If it were not for this list I would probably never have known how proper tires helped in handling this vehicle.

With my old and incorrect passenger tires the van would sometimes dip and scrape my driveway, and now the tires remain solid over bumps. With the old tires I also had way too much sway going around corners and had to significantly slow down. Now with the correct tires I can almost drive like a race car around corners with SIGNIFICANTLY less dipping and sway.

The cornering is absolutely wonderful and I have a feeling of much, much more safety.

Thank you all for the constant posting about tires. What an amazing difference!

I have put my passenger tires up on ebay hoping to find a passenger vehicle to make use of these almost new 14 inch Michelin tires. Perhaps a decent sale will help me overcome my disappointment with the refusal of Winston Tires to honor the paid for warranty.
