Subject: Latest on the Rough Running '90 Carat....@#$%&!!!
Content-Type: text/plain; charset=us-ascii

Greetings all and thanks to those who've sent helpful suggestions.

Having limped the Vanagon home after picking it up at the mechanics (and laying out some SERIUOS coin)..she was running rough, blowing the black exhaust...all of which weren't present in the shops driveway but started up once a got her up to 50+mph.

Anyway....she sat overnight...I started her up to take her back and she ran reasonably well on the slower back roads...didn't notice any of the rich-running symptoms...so before I got her back to the mechanic I took her down the highway at 60+...soon started bucking and blowing exhaust, running rough..even stalled. Started her up...drove back at 40-50mph and she ran ok again.

So...it seems now that she is developing the symptoms at higher revs/speeds.

Suggestions anyone????
