Teaching Math in 1991: A logger sells a truckload of lumber for $100. His cost of production is $80. His profit is determined by subsidized lumber harvesting regulations implemented by his friends in Washington DC. Calculate his campaign contributions to political actions committees based on a %20 percent lumber subsidiary. Add %10 for Republicans.

Teaching Math in 1997: Lumber.com sells a truckload of lumber for $100. Its cost of production is $80. Its profit is determined by a Dutch actuation style online bidding scheme, where the top ten bidders receive the total lot based on the lowest bid price of the group. Write a Monte Carlo Simulation and determine a lowest bid strategy.

Teaching Math in 1998: Lumber.com sells a truckload of lumber for $100. Its cost of production is $120. It sells vertical lumber solutions online with free shipping, while growing market share at all costs. Calculate how many times it has to appear on CNBC Money Line before the stock price doubles again.

Teaching Math in 2001: A laid off lumber.com employ gets $900.00 dollars a month in unemployment. Using empirical data, estimate what price he will get for his $3000 dollar Klien mountain bike on eBay. You must show your data.
