Ok.time to install the waterpump, air box, exaust and bolt this thing in. On that note, a few questions:

1. I note the previous owner used some sort of gasket sealer for most of the accessories (waterpump and other items that bolt to block).is this recommended?

2. Can someone talk me through what I need to do to get this thing properly "timed" prior to firing it up.I have a dim recollection that I need to find a timing mark, and then see if its on the exaust stroke.further, can you tell me what way the motor (and the distributer) turn.and the firing order

Thank you in advance

Philip
