I suppose you could make a case that I did not act fast enough even though a trip to Winston was on my list. I think however that the blown tire convinced them that the wrong tire was on the van.

Yah, technically I knew better. But I think I can still claim them to be negligent. But it seems they have a good customer relations policy.

I will let you all know how it goes.

I always shop at Home Depot because no matter what they take full responsibility to make a customer happy even when the customer is wrong. I've seen people get away with blatant abuse.
