Although ours stays put, I've heard that some folks attach Hook & loop style fastener (Velcro) to the table edge and the wall soo it doesn't budge. G. I have read that there is some sort of sleeve that fits around the tube connected to the table that distributes the friction applied by the screw and holds the table in place. Some one once told me that my van was probably missing this sleeve. I have no idea if that is true and if it is, I have no idea where to get one. Please share any information that you come across with me. My temporary solution has been to roll up a blanket and force it between the table and the cupboard over the water tank. This seems to work for the most part but does add to the hassle of extracting items from the closet. Yes, I tighten the screws on the leg and table tob, but the table still swings out. Van is an 81. I currently stretch a bungee cord, but there's no great place to attach it to, and then I have remove this whole affair to open the rear closet (I'm not cutting the door or the table!, well maybe I will) Does anyone else have this problem. Currently, I store the table in the hatch, but then it gets buried with other stuff so it a bit of a pain to get out for a kids lunch stop with the kids. Any ideas appreciated.
